This place belonged to all of us. It still does.
For generations, Our Bar was the kind of place Champaign County didn't know it needed until it was gone. A three-sided bar. Packed parking for bikes. A side stage that saw more good nights than anyone can count. Food that gave you a reason to make the drive out to the middle of nowhere — and portions that made sure you stayed a while.
It sat on the oldest liquor license in the county. That history doesn't just go away because the lights went out.
Two years ago, the doors closed. We weren't going to let it stay that way.
We formed an LLC, bought the building, and we're putting together a package to hand a new operator the keys to something worth running. That means renovations. That means restoring what made this place special. That means we need your help.
